CrossFit
This training method was developed 8 years ago.
CrossFit’s founder, Greg Glassman, based this training method on the principle of varied, high intensity functional movements aimed at reducing boredom and injury risk.
No machines, no isolated or unnatural movements. The programs consist of:
- Free weights
- Gymnastics
- Cardiovascular activities
This takes place mainly in groups, in classes of 8 to 10 people, maximum. This group dynamic is definitely more challenging than exercising alone. A non-competitive, supportive environment where groupmates will inspire and support each other to optimize performance. The energy of the group will add momentum to your efforts and improve your results.
You will develop and improve:
- Endurance
- Flexibility
- Power
- Strength
- Balance
- Intensity
Our training programs offer highly varied physical conditioning aimed at being fun and non-repetitive while also reducing injury risk. This means no routine, always changing. It is a fitness plan to suit your level of experience and will improve your performance in any sport, make you more productive, ready for anything.
No routine! Each training session consists of a new "menu". No repetition, no “same old thing”. Variety and diversity are keys to the success of CrossFit. You need to stay alert in body and mind, on the lookout, in order to maintain the speed of adaptation and flexibility needed to perform well. This will keep you interested and stimulated so that you will definitely want to come to the next class.
Welcome to the CrossFit family!
